I grew up in the Metro Detroit area… and my introduction to rock music was listening to all those great rock radio stations in Detroit.  And although I’m very much at home here in Indianapolis, I’ll always be a Detroit guy at heart.  This week’s show pays tribute to some of those great Detroit bands that I still love so much.  The only problem I had – was trying to fit so many great bands into one show!  So, this week’s show is Part 1… Part 2 will be next week.

We’ll feature tracks from Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Rare Earth,  Question Mark & The Mysterians, Cactus, Del Shannon, Iggy & The Stooges, The Rationals,  MC5, Sonic’s Rendezvous Band, The Frost, The Rockets, The Romantics, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent.

T-Bone’s Prime Cuts airs in the 2nd hour of the Redbud Radio 3-hour block on WICR, 88.7 FM in Indianapolis at 1:00 AM Eastern Time – Saturday night/Sunday morning.
