Two of my musical heroes died this week – legendary Motown Bassist, Bob Babbitt and former Deep Purple keyboardist, Jon Lord. So, in this weekend’s edition of T-Bone’s Prime Cuts, we’ll pay tribute to these two musical giants.

The first half of the show, we’ll pay tribute to Bob Babbitt and feature songs he played on by The Temptations, Robert Palmer, The Capitols, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Jim Croce and Marvin Gaye.
Then in the second half, we’ll pay tribute Jon Lord featuring some of the iconic tracks he played on with Deep Purple -both studio and live tracks. As well as one of his classical pieces played with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
